Carol’s Take:
It’s possible that saying a certain movie is “not for everyone” is code for: don’t blame me if you hate it. In truth, no film is for everyone. Still, some have broad appeal to one or another large demographic group. Others resonate powerfully with smaller, albeit dedicated, audiences.
“The Future” may not be for everyone (there, I’ve slipped it in twice – that’s enough), but it has certain undeniable charms.
