Bay loses his “mojo” as he take the Transformer saga to the “Dark of the Moon”
Michael Bay isn’t happy making movies unless he is blowing something up! This holds true in the latest and possibly the final Transformers film, ‘Transformers: Dark of the Moon’. Bay took a lot of grief after the last film with the stupid robots, crappy story and so so special effects. With Dark of the Moon, he set out to correct those mistakes. This time we are in breath-taking 3D, the rapping robots are history, and finally the battle comes home to the USA and people must stand side by side with the Transformers to save our planet.

The now unemployed college graduate, Sam Witwicky (Shia LaBeouf) finds himself once again battling decepticons alongside earth’s allies, the Autobots.
Hiding a crashed Cybertronian ship on the moon for 48 years, the Decepticons launch their plan to enslave earth.
Their plan works perfectly. As humans and Autobots forego their alliance, Earth falls prey to a dark future.

My main complaint with the previous Transformers film was the shift from family-friendly to adult “shoot ‘em up.” However, “Transformers: Dark of the Moon” has found a missing balance. After the atrocity that was Transformers 2: Revenge of the Fallen, I lost most of my hope in the ‘Transformers’ movie franchise. I have been a fan of the series ever since Generation 1 when I was a kid. Those cartoons will always have a special place in my heart, and it is because of them that I was so excited to see one of my favorite series come to the big screen. Needless to say I was very disappointed to see the second film go so bad, and I was ready to throw in the towel. Fortunately, ‘Dark of the Moon’ was just what the series needed to survive.
