America’s three favorite idiots have been resurrected from the 60’s and brought into the modern world in the new film “The Three Stooges”. I knew with the Farrelly brothers (Fever Pitch, Something about Mary) that this was going to be a funny and crazy film. There had been numerous casting incarnations before Peter and Bobby settled on some lesser know comedic actors. Roll call….Moe (Chris Diamantopoulos)….Larry (Sean Hayes) and finally Curley Joe (Will Sasso). The film features a large cast of supporting actors in this modern version... The Plot:
When their childhood haven and current place of work is threatened, Larry (Sean Hayes), Moe (Chris Diamantopoulos), and Curly (Will Sasso) set out to raise $830,000 to save it.
Kent’s Take:
The Three Stooges have always been an enigma to me. My childhood sense of decency precluded me from enjoying Their “nyuk-nyuk-nyuking” and “woo-wooing.” So it was with great trepidation that I decided to attend this screening.
