Dark times, indeed. An ominous and foreboding atmosphere permeates “Harry Potter and the Deathly Hallows, Part I,” the first half of the final installment. Because this film’s purpose is to set up the grand finale Battle of Hogwarts, ending the series next July, we don’t get the satisfaction of a climax, only the characters getting closer to the conclusion.
