The Plot:
In 1934, St. Mathilda’s School is a remote boarding school for wayward girls. When Fiamma (Maria Valverde) arrives at the school, she quickly becomes Miss G’s (Eva Green) favorite, replacing the loud, arrogant, Di (Juno Temple).
During class, Miss G teaches the girls that if you desire it, you can achieve it – while the rest of the school’s matrons lecture on prudence and warn against excessive ambition.
As tensions between Fiamma and Di grow, so does Miss G’s unnatural desire for Fiamma.
