At a packed screening of “Bully,” the audience gasped in unison on three separate occasions. Other less collective responses were heard throughout. Some viewers were moved to tears. More were moved to anger.
It’s impossible to overstate the rarity of this kind of reaction to a documentary. But it is possible to rightly claim that “Bully” is an important motion picture.
