The Plot:
Twenty years after Butch Cassidy (Sam Shepard) and the Sundance Kid (Padraic Delaney) overstayed their welcome in the United States, they flee to Bolivia. Cassidy, now an aged man using the name James Blackthorn, decides to head back to the U.S. for a new start with his nephew.
Along the way, he befriends Eduardo Apodaca (Eduardo Noriega), a Spanish accountant who is being hunted by a posse of bounty hunters deadset on recovering $50,000 worth of silver certificates he pilfered from the mine owner.
