Bel Ami- Karl Sides (The Flick Fanatic.com) Robert Pattinson shows us in “Bel Ami” that a man can sleep his way to the top too! Paris in the 1890’s, money is flowing in the streets, even the whores are getting rich so where better for an infantry soldier back from the war to make it rich. Robert Pattinson stars as Georges Duroy a penniless soldier who is in Paris to make his fortune by any means necessary. Duroy lives in a roach infested flat in downtown Paris, scraping together coins for bread and the occasional drink down at the burlesque show. During one such evening Duroy bumps into an old war buddy Charles Forestier (Phillip Glenister) who invites Duroy to dinner to help...
