Anonymous-Reelworld (Kent Tentschert/Carol Hemphill) The Plot: Struggling playwrite Ben Jonson (Sebastian Armesto) is approached by Edward De Vere, Earl of Oxford (Rhys Ifans) with a proposition. De Vere cannot put his name on his plays because of his elevated station in life. So he hires Jonson to release them for him, but as De Vere’s plays strike a nerve in the hearts of audiences, another playwrite Will Shakespeare (Rafe Spall) takes credit creating one of the most infamous ruses in history.
